I'm hoping that this website will be a decent way for me to get some of my ideas out of my head and onto some other media. My last paper as an undergraduate was a killer analysis of Resident Evil: Code Veronica, with an emphasis on the game's main villain, Alexia Ashford. I was really interested in how her physical mutations serve to carry what I believe is the game's primary thesis: it's scary when women can perform masculinity. I'd really like to expand my ideas on that thesis. It's one of those ideas that won't leave me alone.
